Copyright policy
Deadfrog is primarily an anime tracker made for unlicensed japanese anime, manga, and music. When I say unlicensed, I mean it is not sold in the US (at least not officially). Whether it's really licensed or not is not my concern, as long as it isn't for sale in english speaking countries.

I have designed the Deadfrog copyright policy to be fair to everybody, users, content owners, and site operators like myself. I will not remove any content from the site, it will only be replaced.

If you have content that is for sale in the United States and would like to have a download removed, you need to provide a few things. Please make sure you send your E-Mail from a domain that is directly affiliated with the content in question. In your E-Mail, please provide a direct link to the entry, and a link to somewhere it is for sale in the United States. It doesn't have to be a store located in the US, but it does have to accept credit cards from US consumers. If you fail to provide this, I will not remove the download. If you do provide this, the entry will be removed. Now that you know what you'll need to provide, go ahead and E-Mail me.

Deadfrog was created to fill a content gap between Japan and everyone else, to offer non-Japanese consumers what Japanese creators don't make available to others. The best solution to the problem sites like mine may be causing is to release content worldwide instead of making it exclusive. Obviously, people want your work or they wouldn't be downloading it. Some of these people probably wouldn't buy it even if it was for sale in their area, but the rest are people who have no other legitimate method to obtain that content. This is an American site, available to everyone free of charge. It's better than buying the bootlegs off of eBay, which is what you SHOULD be going after. However, if you want download sites like mine to stop allowing downloads of your content, please make it available for sale worldwide.
